Yellow Mulch Films are yellow on the side facing above and brown on the side facing below. The yellow color allure pests (mainly tobacco white flies) and studies done by Israeli scientists have shown that the use of these films significantly lowers the probability of viral diseases being transmitted by tobacco fleas to multiple crop types. The brown color decreases radiation transmission and weed germination.

Yellow Mulch Film works on a simple phenomenon of absorbing light in the visible ultra-violet and IR spectrum. It prevents the photosynthesis process, thus, stops the growth of weed. The film has an outstanding property of affecting light, moisture, and temperature for faster growth and development of crops. Mostly these are for use in the summer season as it blocks the heat from penetrating into the ground. These films are suggested for growing summer vegetables.
